CurrentTV animation.
Utilizing TweenMax, I initiated a project to match AfterEffect’s SpeedGraph capabilities. The result is not perfect, the AE SpeedGraph being a very strong and modular tool. To watch again , please re-load the page: the AS runs on a clock.

paulschneider.com
This site is actually rendered in AS 2.0, but still worth posting in the AS3.0 category. It was the last site I penned in AS 2.0, and represented the necessary bridge I had to cross if I wanted to continue creating content-rich websites. The Anatomical graphics are all original creations in illustrator.
original site is here

ShipToShore
This site is actaully too large to publish here,a link to the actual site is here. The Site runs on a clock, capturing the particular computer’s time, and adjusts the site’s appearance per hour, and minute.

Booksmuggler.com update
I’ll just post a link here. and Add this….
this site is intentionally a work in progress. This site represents an attempt to wrestle with my graphic-design and interaction-design demons: Authorship, the NEW, the Cool, the bold and the beautiful. Taking inspiration from Eco, Massumi, Japanese Mecha, Delueze and Guattari,Architecture, Literature; I want to blend these parameters with blinders; stumble through and scribble out new words.
I‘m looking at those ‘in-between’ spaces in our environment.
Modularity, Transformation, Legibility, Identity, and Reflexivity.
The Abstract Machine of the computer is reflected here in the Abstract Machines created by the Author. A perfect testing-ground I hope. Interaction is modelled and massaged in many different methods. The end goal is to reach past the zero point of finding something ‘NEW’. and instead find tools, food, shelter, and warmth.
shifter and glitcher
This SWF is BIG, so I recommend viewing it here.
This idea came out of a screen crash that occurred while working on a project in AfterEffects, and since I’m in love with a good screen crash, I decided it might be good to implement an app that could generate some of the similar effects….just a beginning…

from “the measure of reality“- Alfred Crosby
pg 131.
Crosby quoting J. Huizinga, the Waning of the Middle Ages…
“one of the fundamental traits of the mind of the declining middle ages is the predominance of the sense of sight, a predominance which is closely connected with the atrophy of thought. Thought takes the form of visual images. Really to impress the mind a concept has first to take visible shape.
